OK guys, I just bought Tide of Iron (base game), and since Dennis got me hooked on it I have been eager to play it again. Up to 4 people can play.Tide of Iron is a really fun tactical squad based game (infantry, tanks and transport vehicles). The base game takes place in 1944, Germans vs Americans. For those of you who play and like the older AH games (like Tobruk and squad leader), Tide of Iron is right up your alley. My house is about 5 mins from Dennis' in West Linn. E-mail me please if you have any questions. Some snacks/drinks provided, more always welcome. Thanks, Erik

Thanks for the offer Dennis, but I just bought a 6 foot table from Costco, I think I have enough chairs allready. Thanks, again.

Matt, thanks for the post. Dennis let me borrow his scenario book . I'm going to choose one that is balanced and makes use of vehicles and infantry. Hope that sounds good.

What scenario are you thinking? I wouldn't mind something a little longer with more units, with there really only being to sides (or teams) with this game a higher unit count would allow for each person to have more flexibility in their strategy, more risk taking, more chances to learn how different units move and take cover...est.

Dennis, I truly appreciate your willingness to bow out so other can have a turn. But, I have definitely had my fair share of games. Since, you RSVP'd first, please take the spot. If something comes up such that you (or someone else) genuinely can't make it, then I am waiting like a dog under the dinner table. Otherwise, play on dude!! Please change your RSVP and I will adjust mine to get you back in. Thanks again.
